All We Want Is …

For people traveling to Singapore and looking for a hotel to stay in, there are a lot of choices.
However not all hotels have what Hotel Re! does…

Hotel Re! is a theme hotel. Their objective is to transport you back into the 60′s – 70′s disco style. With hip colors and retro environment so you can forget the busy city life for a while. Hotel Re! is quite a new hotel and it is getting more publicity in Singapore. The hotel is located @ Pearl’s Hill which is a city park. It is 10 minutes from China Town and 10 minutes from Clark Quay.

Price wise it is quite worth it because of the location and facilities like free internet. The hotel is known for it’s cleanliness and friendly staff. However it it said that the normal rooms are quite small.

So an upgrade is highly recommended.

Hi again Yep lately a lot of stories to tell. Last Tuesday I went to the New-Asia Bar. That is a bar in a sky scraper in the middle of town. (Raffles City)

The view is astounding as the sun goes down.. I had some mock-tails. Which are cocktails but then without the booze. Did I mention that the view was astounding?! The bar is located at the highest (71st) floor.  Now the important stuff.  

I had a Virgin Mojito.. it is a fresh, tasty and actually quite easy to make cocktail.

HOW TO make a Mojito mock-tail: All you need is some sugar, mint leaves, soda and lime.

1. Mix the sugar with the mint leaves and some lime juice. Use the back of a spoon to really massage and mix the ingredients.

2. Add club soda or carbonated water to taste. (In the original cocktail they use white rum)

3. Finally finish it with small pieces of real lime and crushed ice.

Hope you like it as much as I do! Gonna buy the ingredients tomorrow and try and make it.
