Win #1:

David Cook wins American Idol 2008!!! Personally I think David Cook is more versatile and original. David Archuleta is good but after awhile, any song he sings is the same as any other he’s done. And the judges – To them, Archuleta seems to not do anything wrong! Randy always said that he can sing the phonebook and it will still sound good, so why didn’t they get him to sing the phonebook then? Whatever! Anyways, the better David obviously has won! Yeay!!!

Win #2:

Man Utd has won the doubles!!! Need I say more? ;)

Known as a little piece of heaven on earth. I have fallen in love with these islands. We are thinking of going there for our honeymoon. On my way to India, I read a Reader’s Digest with an article about these islands. It is said in a common greenhouse global-warming scenario, the Maldives have been condemned to become flooded in 50 years or, at the most, 100 years. It will be truly a waste if I have not visited this place before it is gone.

Although it is said 50 to a 100 years. But personally I think it will be in 10 years that most of the islands are flooded. Quite freaky if you think about it. A population of 379,174 will have to move somewhere else.

Resorts in the Maldives woo tourists with promises of ‘the last paradise on earth’. And judging from the stories I heard and the pictures I have seen.. it is true. :)
