Update on Sarah & Sophia

Hi All,

We would like to thank everyone who have visited us during the past few weeks.
The babies are doing great. They eat a lot and grow very fast.

Yesterday we wanted to go to the doctor with the both girls. Sarah has trouble passing motion and Sophia has a small ear infection. We ended up going to the doctor only for Sophia. An hour before the appointment, Sarah passed motion :)
I think somehow she knew we were going to the doctors.. so she passed motion very quickly.
For Sophia we got some ear drops and they work great. So far the babies have been very good to us. They even drink plain water.

First night alone not only life changing..

Just to share some experience. I have to say that the feeling is quite overwhelming taking care of the two princesses.  There are always very funny and definitely non ordinary moments during the first day and night. One moment in particular was changing Sophia’s diaper :)

After she woke up, I changed her diaper, gave her the bottle, and after giving her the bottle, I needed to change her again … and again. All in a time span of 30 mins. And previously, I thought it is 1 diaper a day! Think again.. lol

Last night, they slept well. Sarah woke up on the dot to have her milky and they went back to sleep right after. So both babies and parents were very content. We need to be reminded to burp the little ones to prevent hiccups. A good practice to burp them one time before and one time after having food. This morning they had a bath and for today they are sleeping in the living room.

Not only life changing but more diaper changing! hahahaha..

Hi,

A quick update, babies are doing great! On their second day, they are drinking 30 ml at each feeding already. If everything goes well, they can come home today (15 July 2009). So excited! Can’t wait to see them finally resting in their own beds! Also we will register their names.
