All We Want Is …

Hi All,

It’s me again! I decided to blog more about Singapore and gadgets. So today I went to Bugis Junction. There, the other day, I found Yella Fellas (At the basement). Being so long away from The Netherlands, I always try and find stuff that reminds me of it.

So, Yella Fellas sells fresh cut fries. And it is not the fries that are special to me. It is the combination of sauces that they have. They have a “Belgian Special” and that reminds me 100% of our “patat speciaal” which is mayonnaise an ketchup topped with dices unions. Nice!! So you definitely don’t have to miss the foods from The Netherlands if you come to Singapore (for a holiday).

Hi all,

It has been a long time since I actually wrote something.. Ok, let’s see what happened the last few days… don’t ask me any further.. That will be kind of a black hole haha.

Let’s start with today. Today, I woke up quite early. I slept at Azlina’s parents place. Why? Well sometimes I do that after a soccer match! It was my favorite club Manchester United playing against Fullham. My club won with 3 goals against 0.

To be able to see the matches, we need Football Channel. (http://fc.sg.msn.com/index.aspx) It’s a separate paid channel. So for me to catch the action I go to Azlina’s place. And most of the matches are “live” so they start around 11pm over here.

Yesterday we went out to Arab Street (Little India), I bought a book and we bought some clothes.. actually we wanted to go to Natas which is a Travel Fair. We didn’t go in the end..

Friday night was nice, we went to the movies. This time it was a Singapore production movie. Called ” The Leap Years”. A romantic movie about a promise.. meeting each other on the same day, same time, same place. Whoaa! 29 February 8pm Windows Cafe.

Can you imagine? Very very nice movie indeed. However…. during the advertisement on TV they used very very nice music. And I missed that during the movie. Although Corrinne May (Who is a Singaporean singer) is not bad. Her songs are quite nice also.

Ow, today we met with our decorator for our wedding. Not the wedding planner but the decorator. She is in charge of transforming a dull place into a “whoaw” place. We also discussed the cakes, the invitation cards and such. Tonight we had dinner at Azlina’s parents place. Mee Soto.. as the title says is a bowl of noodles with special gravy and pieces of chicken… yummy!
